Flying was always a dream, the day I decided to take my first discovery flight there was no going back. With the support of my wife and family I chose to start the journey of becoming a CFI. I obtained my private pilot license at KCOE in Coeur d’alene Idaho where I learned back country and mountain flying. After private I went down to KTOA in Torrance CA to do my IFR training. Working in one of the busiest airspaces in the world challenged me to become a more well rounded pilot.

Commercial and CFI licenses were done back in WA. Between KCOE and KPAE in Seattle. The CFI license is notoriously one of the toughest ratings in aviation and rightly so. In the process I developed a detailed curriculum that covers everything you will need to know to become a safe and effective pilot.

It may not be the traditional route but my journey goes to show that this is possible for anyone that wants to take the jump. My ultimate goal is to aid in your journey and facilitate the growth of aspiring aviators!
